EXAMPLE OF RIVER REMEDIATION (COLOMBIA)

Significant reduction of organic pollutants and heavy metals such as barium and aluminum. In addition, nutrient surpluses have steadily decreased since the installation of EBD-technology.

As a result, the Colombian Environmental Agency (CAR) has officially certified the EBD-technology in 2021.

EXAMPLE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT (MALAYSIA)

At the municipal wastewater treatment plant, EBD-technology resulted in reduced use of aeration systems, leading to electricity savings of up to 35% in 2020/21.

The number of operating hours of the aeration systems was significantly reduced, while the required wastewater treatment parameters were still met.

EXAMPLE HARBOUR MUD (GERMANY)

All heavy metals were reduced between ~ -89% and ~ -100% in just 14 days using MERV-technology.

This is shown by laboratory eluate results from soil samples of heavily contaminated harbour sludge in 2018.

EXAMPLE SLURRY (SPAIN)

Comprehensive elimination of ammonia odor and greenhouse gases in a short time with EBD-technology in 2 farms of different sizes. The installations were made in the slurry ponds and in the stalls for pigs.

The slurry mass was lower than in the control ponds. The slurry in the ponds was also much clearer visually.

Excess nutrients, pollutants and pathogens are continuously and impressively reduced.

In a study conducted by a university, 4 measurement periods were recorded over a full year. Currently, the evaluation is taking place.
