WHAT DOES BIO-REMEDIATIONS MEAN?

As part of natural processes, it is locally present microorganisms such as fungi and bacteria that are adapted to any contaminants in the contaminated soils over a period of years. These organisms use the contaminants as a source of food and energy, they metabolize them and thus degrade the pollutants over time. Our processes activate these natural processes, favoring and significantly accelerating them. Among other things, pollutants are encapsulated and transformed in a short time to a large extent harmless.

Bio-remediation, and our processes in particular, are essentially based on restoring the natural balance through interactions between the microorganisms and nutrients present in the soil and the pollutants. This involves a series of biochemical and biophysical processes. These are initiated, for example, by the addition of natural minerals, nutrients, organic bacteria and/or frequencies. Among other things, oxidation processes are triggered by the inclusion of free radicals, which activate locally present microorganisms. This causes reductions of contaminants in soil and water. In contaminated soils, the naturally existing microorganisms adapt to the contamination as a survival strategy, i.e. they are already specialized for the site-specific pollutant. Thus, they can be used for remediation. They resist the toxicity of the contaminants and can utilize them. This is Geobality's approach, optimizing natural conditions with proprietary technologies.

The timeline of the remediation processes depends on many factors of the soil properties and the climatic conditions. Therefore, it is difficult to give a general time schedule and it should always be understood with these reservations.
